At The Norfolk & Norwich Canine Society Open Show in Any Variety Not Seperately Classified out of a class of 6 Humbug was 2nd place in the Puppy class under Judge Mrs Sue Searle. At the same show in the Any Variety Junior Stakes Humbug was 2nd out of 12 entries under Judge Mr Robin Searle.

The Old English Mastiff Club Championship Show under Breed Specialist Miss J Manfredi (Prixcan). Humbug was 1st Junior Dog & 1st Novice Dog.
At Thetford & DCS Open Show at 15 Months Old Humbug was 1st Post Graduate Dog or Bitch and Best Of Breed under Terry Satchell. Then placed under Glynn Payne
At Suffolk Kennel Association Open Show Humbug was placed 1st Post Graduate Dog/Bitch under Mark Pooley.

Humbug at 19 months old
Bas Bosch wrote of Humbug: Masculine dog of impressive size, well made, nicely balanced body. Well developed head with decent stop, typical skull shape with nice wrinkles, large nostrils. Massive bone, plenty of rib already, excellent back and loins, moves well.

At only 17 months old at The Lowestoft & Oulton Broads Canine Society All Breed Open Show Humbug was 1st in Post Graduate & Limit then awarded Best Of Breed under Diane Fleming. Then under the same judge he was awarded awarded

Thank you so much to both judges. All we can say is 'like father, like son' following in his fathers footsteps... We never dreamt that we would qualify one Mastiff for The East Anglian Supermatch but we have now qualified two in the same year! Thank you so much to everyone who has offered us their congratulations. A special thank you to Humbug's 'Nanny Sharon Clarke', for letting me have such a special boy.

At The Isle Of Ely Open Show under Mrs P Baker (Merrywyck) 1st Open & Best Of Breed.
At The Mastiff Association Championship Show under Mr Peter Sarjeant in his first Limit Dog class Humbug was 1st Place in a class of 9. Peter Sarjeant wrote of him:
At Crufts 2008 in a strong class of 12 Humbug was placed 5th in Limit Dog at only 21 months old under Mr Bill Toogood.
After Crufts we took a year out of the show ring, but went back into the ring with a bang at Bath!
